Whilst I am a rugby player, and hence have organised sponsorship for the rugby section in previous years, when the opportunity came up to support my daughters and the wider section it seemed the right time to do so.

The Ladies section are delighted to announce their new section sponsors - Sydney Mitchell LLP.

Kam Majevadia, one of the Partners at Sydney Mitchell, and whose daughters have both played for the Ladies 1st XI in recent years, was keen to offer the company's support to the hockey section having previously supported the Silhillians Rugby Club.

Through the firm's sponsorship, the ladies have all been able to acquire very smart looking training tops for a match day to help continue to drive the section forward. This season has seen excellent success on the field, with both Ladies sides currently on unbeaten runs of at least 5 weeks, and the new tops will help to further improve the reputation of the squad as they look to push for promotion to the Midlands Divisions.
