Mighty 4s must Edge 7 out in "Clash of the Day" !

It's very simple. Win the game and Sils have a fantastic chance of finishing the season in second place. (There are other options apparently, but you won't be able to read about them here).

Our penultimate away game of the season is set up to be a cracker as we travel to Birmingham to take on Edgbaston 7. The return fixture before Christmas was a score-draw, but both teams will be gunning for victory in what is without doubt the most important game in Central League SW 2nd Division.
The Mighty 4s will have to dig deep into their experienced squad to cover for a number of changes. Missing the crunch clash are Bates, Bettridge & Creed. However, Steve Aylin's timely return from injury means that he is expected to play a pivotal role in defence, whether partnering Dave Higgins in the centre, or standing in as replacement GK for Yogi. Talisman Rush is expected to recover from a twisted ankle in time to lead the line with Boodha Willetts. Meanwhile, Sils' four midfield "musketeers" (Dwyer, Russell, Alex Willetts & Harrison), will be ready to put Edge to the sword.

Final team selection will be confirmed by Tuesday evening but a squad of 13 or 14 are expected to travel to Birmingham University. Feel free to join them and cheer on the Mighty 4s in their most important game for several years !
