Old Sils M4 v Old Sils M5

No this is not a typo – as far as I know this is the first ever official league fixture between any two sides from the Old Sils. It’s home and away!

Last week the M4s lost by the odd goal to Hampton 6 while the M5s won by the odd goal to Hampton 5. So now the 5s are above the 4s in the table. The tension is rising and a few ‘rivalries’ and ‘old scores to settle’ have brought a certain edge to the match.

However, a few deserters have bottled out by scrambling for places in the higher sides. Choppy, of all people, seems to have joined them. They don’t know what they are missing – or perhaps they do.

Will it be the Mighty 4s or High 5s that buy the beers? Watch this space.
