Old Sils Hockey Club celebrated what has surely been one of the most successful seasons in its history at the Clubhouse on 22nd April when a record 130 members and supporters enjoyed a memorable Annual Dinner & Awards evening.

After a superb 3-course meal (thank you Rupert Davies and team), the toast to the Club was proposed by Jim Goldstraw and reports on successful seasons for all three sections - Mens, Ladies and Juniors, were given by Tom Harrison, Frankie Levey and Andre Tchakhotine.

President Jason Dalby summarised the many non-playing achievements and introduced our guests Steve Urry, Charles Fillingham, Chris Mayer, Jane Sixsmith, Ellie-Mae Beeton and George Sitch, before the final Awards of the night were presented.

Presidents Shield for the Adult team of the year: MENS 4TH XI

Shorthouse Salver for the Club Player of the Year: FAMKE BRAAKMAN
Presidents Cup for the outstanding 1st XI Player of the Year: CALUM CLELAND

Chairman’s Shield for services to the infrastructure of the club: GURMUKH HAYRE
Cutler Award for the outstanding contribution to the club: ANDRE TCHAKHOTINE
