First home game of the season for the Sils 3s, and a welcome return to the side of Patricia Roe, who had been out for a couple of seasons with niggling injuries.

The side also welcomed Lois Conduit up from the 4s having impressed the previous week.

Buoyed by the previous week's win, the Sils started strongly, and it was apparent that the home team had much more speed across the pitch than the opposition and so made some good attacks down the right in the initial stages. However, Stratford's defence was resolute, and the Sils movement in the D was not quite as positive as it needed to be, particularly since the visiting keeper was definitely not a regular in the pads!

It took a PC strike from Megan Brindley to open the scoring midway through the first half, and then after that the Sils began to find their feet a little. Ria Upadhyay forcing home at the far post after a couple of initial shots by Priyanka, and Raizada herself also getting on the scoresheet from close range in the first half to make the score 3-0 at half time.

For the second week in a row though, whilst the score seemed slightly one-sided, it was actually the defensive line up that was winning the accolades. Conduit, at Right Back, was having a storming game, breaking up attacks and helping to over load in attack with driving runs down the right; Captain Lawrence did not put a foot wrong at Centre Back, and everything Lily Seager was called upon to do at left back she completed with little fuss. Farmer was able to keep a second cleansheet, with the second half seeing another 3 goals for the home team.

Brindley completed a hat-trick, with her final goal a really fine forwards finish deflecting the ball past the oncoming keeeper, whilst the other one was a true poacher's goal, stealing a goal from the impressive Anand Bharath on the goal line. Raizada also grabbed a second, to leave the final score 6-0 to Sils.
