The M3, having lent a number of players to the M2 (due to half-term availability issues) took away three points in a must-win game against Leicester Westleigh.
Trailing 2-1 at half-time with only a Sam Stephen goal to show for a sold first half performance, the home team raised their game in the second-half to dominate the second period and score three unanswered goals - Sam Stephen completing his hat-trick through the execution of a well rehearsed (ahem!) penalty corner routine, and Tom Cloke scoring the other.
Eamonn Jones in only his second ever performance once again illustrated his fantastic natural ability in keeping a clean sheet in the second half to secure the win for the home team.
Next week, Captain Richard Thurman might be struggling to find a place in the team thanks to the great job that stand-in skipper Warren Gray did this week.
