Sils lined up with a squad of 14 but still no keeper, a massive thank you to Alex Dooley for stepping in for the first half!
Hampton a very young, fresh and well organised team started strong with lots of possession and slick passing, sils had their chances but it was very apparent that our style for the first half was counter-attack.
Hampton scored three good goals in the first half but also missed a flick, some dodgy decisions from the umpires giving Hampton the ball.
Half time 3-0
Second half sils started strong and i mean STRONG!, some complaints from the opposition with that. Sils scored through a well worked goal and Simon Russell converting well, followed by another goal shortly after from Rich Thurman and then moments after that Tom Cloke got the equaliser, things were looking good for the sils only for Hampton to score near the end to make it a loss of 4-3.
