Can the Mighty 4s make it 3 from 3 ?
Sils will be looking to build on their impressive start to the league season as they take on Edgbaston this weekend. The points were shared in the same fixture last season, but the early season form of both sides suggests that a repeat score line is less likely on Saturday. This is a key fixture for the Sils. Their opponents will be looking to get their first points of the season, whilst the Mighty 4s will be looking for another victory before they take an enforced week off given the odd number of teams in the league. It's a day for commitment, consistency, and focus for the full 70.
Once again, injury and availability issues mean that there are further changes to the squad. Steve Aylin remains absent, but is due back 31st. Tony Dwyer's dodgy hamstring has turned up, rendering him unavailable for a few weeks, but after an impressive debut last week, Sam Teal is available again. The team will be boosted by the return of Mike Bettridge and Captain Dave Higgins who, after four days of sweating and coughing, is once again ready to give blood for the cause, especially if it's not too cold.
This game is not being broadcast on either Sky or BT Sport (have a word Yogi), so put your towels down now if you want to be sure of getting a good seat. Either that, or just park in Tony's space !
