New Season Starts at Home to Hampton

Thanks to Craig for scripting the first match preview as a new season dawns and welcome back to Tony Jameson who is expected to make his debut for the Mighty 4s this Saturday.

Well, here we are again! It doesn't seem like five minutes since the end of last season. However, with some having played some summer hockey, played in the mixed festival or had a run--around on Saturday to bring ourselves to peak fitness (!), we'll be raring to go, won't we....?

Playing Hampton 4ths, who have come down from SW2, will be a testing start to our season and an interesting pointer to the league fixture against them on 5 November. So let's re-establish the good form we showed (for the most part) last season and give them a run for their money. We're missing new grandad, John H and Steve A (aka Mr Cool) but still have Brandon to run them ragged and Shaun to "motivate" us. Rushy's even cut down on the fags so what could possibly go wrong? We just need the three retirees in the back line to stay awake!

Villa had 26 shots against Forest's 3 on Saturday but still managed only a draw. If we get awarded a short, let's put it away!
