Sils travelled to the University of Warwick for the latest Division 1 encounter hoping for a change in fortunes from recent weeks although hampered from the start with only a bare 11 to choose from. However, they started brightly and within 38 seconds Naomi Ennis had smashed the ball home. Warwick were stunned with half their team having not even touched the ball but they composed themselves and started to exert pressure on the Sils defence. The University kept pressing and by half time had managed to squeeze in an equaliser and continuing their game plan into the second half managed to score two further goals to take maximum points.
Difficult times for Sils but with fortune going their way in other fixtures they are now safe for this season and can start to plan for next years onslaught.
