The ladies 2's started on a cold foggy pitch with a strong team and much pressure to win to stay top of the league.
The first half was very even with athletic mid-field on both sides and fabulous defending all round.
Half time score 0-0
Shortly into the second half some scrapping in our defensive D, the Olton 5's kicked the ball into our goal.
This gave the Old Silhillians the boost they needed and Katy Craddock scored in free play with a superb strike from the top of the D.
Many misses chances later, Jess Lawton pushed a perfect cross into the back of the net to put the Sils ahead 2-1.
With the Sils concentrating on defending their lead, the game finished 2-1 and Sils held onto their top spot in the league.
