The youngest group of players that take part in matches took to the astro to host Sutton Coldfield, who arrived with 2 teams of keen Under 8s.

Sils had a core of 6 players, and then promoted a couple from the Hockey Minis, to make up a full 8, and took part in two 8-a-side matches.

The Sils, many of whom were playing in their first matches, put on a fabulous display, winning one game, and losing the other in a closely fought match against the second Sutton team.

The Under 8s have a return fixture in a couple of weeks time.
