Sils Too Strong For Nuns

Sils started very strongly and were very well organised from the start, this paid off as they scored almost from the start.

The ball stayed in Nuneatons half for most of the first quarter, Sils scored several goals in each half and defended very well, which wasn't good for the keeper who started to mimic a snowman!

After the first quarter the Johnny came out of goal and played outfield, not only did he make two good saves he also scored two good goals.

Erica and Melissa did plenty of good running and setting up of goals as well as getting on the score sheet themselves.

Carrick got into some great positions for smash the ball home from some good play.

Poppy tackled well and looked on point and slotted home nicely from a solo effort.

Matthew tackled well at the top of their D to get through the last line to score.

Molly set up some great play and started several of Sils goals through hard work and accurate passing.

Serena had some very good stick skills which made it easy for her to get past their defence to also score.

Olivia got stuck in at the heart of midfield being Sils playmaker and also getting on the score sheet herself.

A great game and very enjoyable for all especially coming off 12-1 winners.
