Sils Mixed Team travelled to the actual Olympic Hockey Pitches which have been relaid at Abbeydale Stadium in Sheffield to take on some of the best Mixed sides in the Country.
In the semi-final, having taken a 2-0 lead, they let this slip, and in torrential rain finally managed to scrape through against Norwich City, winning 8-7 on Sudden Death Penalty Strokes, with Patrick O'Malley the hero in goal saving two of the opponents strokes.
On the Sunday, the side played National League outfit Deeside Ramblers. Again a fantastic start saw early goals from Kat Berns and Dan Sulway, but this time they never lost the lead. Sulway completed his hat-trick with 2 minutes to go to secure a 5-3 win, with Simon Clapham scoring the other goal.
An immense achievement with the side beating several much larger clubs on their way to their first ever National Title.
The trophy will be on display in the Club's brand new clubhouse in October.
