A dominant sils win at home after three successive loses!

A great performance from The Sils this week, after losing three in a row moral was down, things got worse when a Selection blip meant that the home team only had ten players.

At the handshake Hampton kindly gave the sils a player to use (probably one of their as it turns out) .

The game started with chances going to both teams and the game evenly split.

After 15mins Chris Smith saw yellow and sils had some work to do, with good positioning and calm heads sils manage to run down the sin bin clock and keep it at 0-0, sils realised then with Smithy back on that we should get something from this and upped their game.

The extra 10% soon paid off as a break from defence through Felix Scott to Rich Thurman to Sam Ekins to Gareth Dawes saw a pull back to Tom Berns who scuffed it home to make it 1-0.

Sils made it 2-0 shortly after the restart with again some great running from Sam Ekins who played Dawes in to slot home with ease to finally get on the score sheet after a small drought.

Sils went in at half time 2-0 and the half time team talk was very positive, a fee players were played out of position today but how they played you couldn't tell. Felix was by far the star of the first half.

Sils started strong again for the second half and dominated most of the half, a few shorts saw some chances then it came, another short own by Dawes saw him inject to Rich Thurman, his first shot came straight back out where it was taken first time and slammed in to the top left corner, pick that one out!

Dawes sealed it with a fourth before Hampton came back with two of their own, Thurman and Dawes could have made it even more with the best chance falling to Thurman who one on one with the keeper and Dawes loitering and the back post hit the inside of the post which could have made it five, D.O.D. to Thurman for that one and a fine performance from Felix Scott for M.o.M.
