League Champions!

Ladies 2's finish the league in style with a 6-0 win.

Initially both teams were strong, and there was an even keel to the game, but the Sils went up 1-0 with a goal from Sally-Anne Lawrence, which set the tone for the rest of the game.

Despite best efforts from Lemington 4th team, the Sils went onto score a further 2 goals (Lucy Gilbert and Tamara Majevadia). Half time score 3-0.

The half time talk was concentrated but excited as the Sils could see the finish post only 35minutes away.

During the second half there was some inspired play by the team to have an assist from the sweeper Rachel Weston leading to a top of the D stunning hit to the backpost from Katy Craddock, followed only a few minutes later by a 2nd from Katy in free play. The final was a second goal from Tamara, a beautiful cross from the Katy who looked up to see Tamara at the far post, an easy slot into the goal with the keeper totally wrong footed. Final score 6-0 to the extatic league winners - Old Silhillians Ladies 2nd team.
