Hard day's work

3 really strong well fought games against opposition we had never played before.
Things started really well in game 1 against Leicester, Sils running out comfortable 5-2 winners with 4 Goals for Matt H assisted each time by Khea and 1 goal for Khea with the assist from Fergus.
The second game against home side Ashby was a bit of a different story, 3 really quick goals in the first few minutes put Sils on the back foot. The rest of the game was a more evenly fought match with Sils scoring 3 times, Khea, Matt & Ollie Williams but Ashby's more clinical finishing saw them pull out winners 7-3.
The final game against Chesterfield seemed to be going the same way with Sils 4-2 down at half time (Ollie & Matt) but an inspired fight back in the second half with 2 more goals from Ollie, one slightly controversial, saw Sils draw 4-4.

There were great team performances and individuals, obviously 12 Goals between Matt, Khea and Ollie will always grab the headlines but solid performances from Fergus, Yuki, Ollie Harris and Johnnie Carter held the team together and some great keeping from Josh playing through after he was injured by his own team in the warm up....
