Developing Team playing hard.

With the juniors having 5 teams at various events this weekend and a few key absences for various reasons Sils played the tournament with just 7 players and no substitutes.

The first game against Leicester Westeligh saw Sils cruise to a comfortable 8-1 win with Goals from Matthew(4), Kheya (3) and Yuki(1), this may have lead us into a false sense of security.
Next we came up against a strong Ashby team who have previously put 7 goals past us, the Sils played hard and the defence closed down and absorbed a massive amount of pressure from the Ashby boys with Sils eventually going down 0-3.
The final game was against Chesterfield, like the previous encounter between the 2 teams this was a close fought nip and tuck game with chances for both teams, but the lack of substitutes began to tell and as the legs tired Chesterfield managed to edge the game 2-4.

Overall another strong performance from the boys who are growing in confidence and ability all the time. Ready for the next games away at Chesterfield on January 20th.
