Sils on a roll
Once again the U14 boys went out on the road and rolled over everything before them.
The First game was against a much improved Berkswell and Balsall Common saw a well organised Sils team run out 4-0 winners. In a hard fought match with lots of really good play from both teams.
The second match presented a different challenge for the boys as Stratford were playing with 7 outfield players as they had no keeper.
Stratford came out fast and hard scoring a goal in the first couple of minutes. Not shaken the boys regrouped and having worked out which of the Stratford team were the real dangers, they worked a strategy to close them out of the game and took total charge. Equalising a few minutes later and going on to lead 7 - 1 by half time, another hard start from Stratford netted them a second but with sils still on a roll 4 more goals followed by full time giving a final score of 11-2
